Important Changes I'm Making To My Business In 2026

I’m making some important changes to my beloved Academy and what I offer.

Please do have a read through. I’m going to give you a general overview AND all the juicy details of it all, and why I’m making these changes.

I know change can feel challenging and bring up lots of different feelings. Please be gentle with you. And please know I’ll do my very best to explain the detail and why so you can feel more at home in the changes. Also please know I’ve thought and overthought about these changes for months, looking at ways I can make sure it’s a win-win-win for everyone involved. It is my deepest hope these changes serve and uplift everyone involved.

#1: The Re-brand

Brilliant Biz & Life Academy is being rebranded to be Unicorn Biz and Life Academy.

Why?

If you’ve been around these parts for long enough, you’ll know I love a good name shift to invoke a new energy.

The Academy originally began back in ye olden days of 2010 (!!!) named as Goddess Circle. It went on to be Amazing Biz and Life Academy, then Shining Biz and Life Academy. In 2019, the Academy went on sabbatical for 3 years, and was relaunched as Brilliant Biz and Life Academy.

As with a lot of my ideas, the idea didn’t tend to come about because of some strategy forecasting with a spreadsheet and whiteboard. They come to me when I’m laying in bed, in that liminal state between awake and asleep, drifting between worlds. An intuition, a vision, a guidance from my angels.

You’re going to rename the Academy to be Unicorn, they told me.

What???? Why??? That’s ridiculous! I respond blearily.

That’s the name now, they tell me.

Then they show me a vision.

I see myself riding across a field on a unicorn’s back, galloping towards my dreams with joy in my heart and wind in my hair.

Then behind me, a whole soul army of women appear, all astride their own unicorns. All of us on our quests, together, birthing our miracles into the world with heart and courage and so much gladness.

It was like a Braveheart scene, but less war and more joy.

Now, y’all know I’m pretty AI-adverse (I talked about it more in the latest podcast episode here), but one thing I *do* find it quite useful at is helping create a vision image, so I can put it on my dream board and really anchor into the energy of the vision. (I’ve also used it to write fan fiction about a se*x dream I had, which I still think is the best possible use case study of AI bahahahahahahahaha!)

Anyways, AI shenanigans aside... after I got the message and vision, I sat with it for quite a while.

And I realised the new name was the exact perfect energy of what I wanted the Academy to embody.

To do life and business in the Unicorn Way.

Joyful. Renegade. Revolutionary. Wild and free. Magical. Unique. Completely yours. In a way other people aren’t doing it. Outlandish creativity. Creating glorious success with spirit and heart.

All of this, and more.

It feels like it’s opening the doors for even more programs and experiences I want to craft for Unicorn Academy members with all this beautiful energy.

That feels exciting.

How it affects you:

Negligible, except I hope you adore the spirit of the new name as much as I do.

One Academy member who I told on a recent call said: “It feels like it’s always been the Unicorn Academy anyway!”

#2: Price Change

I’m sure you’re all getting the same kinds of emails that I am.

Ones notifying you of a price change, and it’s always a price INCREASE.

So you might feel a little tense hearing there’s a price change happening to the Academy.

HOWEVER... it’s in the opposite direction from what you might think.

I originally opened at $99 a year. Then it was increased to $199 a year as more was added to it. Then it was increased to $495 a year.

And now I’m reducing the general Academy price right back to $99 a year.

Why?

I want to make it as wildly accessible for as many people as possible.

I *love* selling it at $99 a year. I love that it’s a no-brainer decision. I love teaching more people than less. I love being wildly generous. I love surprising and delighting people. I’d rather help more people than less.

I tried the higher prices, and they were great too. And now I’m following the inner guidance of: Fuckkit, I want it to be $99 a year again! It would make me feel ridiculously joyful to offer that!

I feel like right now the world is in dire need of more love. More joy. More creativity. More support. More inspiration. More heart-centred guidance. And I feel like making the Unicorn Biz & Life Academy the most affordable price possible is my best way of offering that to as many people as I can.

“BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN ABOUT THE INDUSTRY/YOUR BUSINESS THAT YOU ARE REDUCING PRICES?”

I can understand when people fret that if business leaders are making changes in their business, it means something about the industry as a whole. I think that feeling is even more intensified when there’s already so much change and stress and uncertainty in the world.

Does me making this decision mean that everyone should drop from higher priced offers to low priced ones?

Absolutely not. There’s room in the market for *everyone.* I know I tend to be a lower priced offers girly anyway. AND... as you’ll hear about in a second, I’m adding in new offers that are higher priced as well.

Am I taking away anything from the Academy membership with this price drop?

Absolutely not.

You still get:

The *only* change is that our usual monthly co-working call is being converted into a monthly Productivity Power Hour led by my own accountability coach (and podcast co-host), Tamara Protassow . Tam’s the person I pay to get my own productivity uplevelled, so I wanted to bring her magic into the Academy for all to experience!

#3 How the price change affects current Academy members:

If you signed up at $99 a year:

• no change! Carry on enjoying your glorious life and ridiculously low price!

If you signed up at our limited edition monthly payment plan price when we offered it a couple of years ago:

• Your subscription has been reduced right down to $14.95 a month.

If you’re a current Academy member who signed up at $199 a year:

• Your subscription price has been reduced down to $99 for the next time it renews

• I’m giving you $100 in Leonie Credit to use towards Take Action Club or Grow Mastermind (more on those in a second). Please email us (support@leoniedawson.com) and we will organise for you!

If you’re a current Academy member who signed up at $495 a year:

• Your subscription price has been reduced down to $99 for the next time it renews

Pre-emptive question answering:

• “Can I sign up at the monthly payment price?” No, sorry. It’s only available to those who signed up during our limited offer a couple of years ago.

• “Can I receive a refund for paying a higher price?” No, sorry. Almost all subscriptions are substantially into their year’s membership, and I’ve given all services promised. I’m happy to offer you the credit so you can receive complimentary month/s in the Take Action Club, or put it towards a Grow Mastermind membership.

• “But I don’t feel as special having a $99 membership if everyone can have it now.” That’s completely understandable. And there could be some beautiful things that arise for you because of this: your new best friend, business partner or client may find you through the Academy that have been wanting to join but couldn’t before. You could share about the Academy with more people and receive even more affiliate abundance. A life-changing insight could come to you from new offerings that are born into the Academy. So much is possible! I always trust that if I’m being guided to do something, it’s for the highest good of all involved.

#4: New Academy Tiers

As part of this re-visioning experience, I felt like I wanted to bring even more expansive possibilities into the Academy.

To offer ways people can receive deeper, more intensive levels of support and coaching for wherever they were at in their journey.

Having just one big Academy offer where everyone got access to all my courses was perfect for me for so many years. While I was raising younger kids, it was the perfect fit! I could create and teach in a way that was sustainable for my body and nervous system.

And now my kids are older and need much less from me. And as I’ve shared in this zine and this podcast episode, last year I went on a deep healing journey to expand my nervous system capacity by resolving my primitive reflexes. It was blooming LIFE CHANGING.

And now I have all this extra CAPACITY. Last year I began coaching small groups and discovered that I ADORED it... and that it was a really potent way to serve people even more deeply. So I want to begin to weave those deeper levels of support in for people who are wanting it now that I can do it sustainably and joyfully!
